Jada Pinkett-Smith confesses, describes relationship with August Alsina as an Entanglement
"I guess about four and a half years ago I started a friendship with August. We became really really good friends and it all started with him needing some help and me wanting to help his health and mental state," she said.
Pinkett goes on to reveal the time their marriage was going through tough times and how she got entangled with Alsina in a romantic relationship. "One thing I want to clear up is about you giving permission and the only person who could give permission at that time is myself." "But what August was probably trying to communicate because I can see how he would perceive it, because we were separated amicably and I think he wanted to make it clear that he is not home wrecker which he is not."
Pinkett's statement is coming less than two weeks after Alsina revealed that he had a romantic relationship with her. Alsina says he met Jada in 2015 after he was introduced to her by her son, Jaden, and the two became close when he vacationed with the family in Hawaii in 2016. Hushpuppi Denied Bail Request In US
The United States has denied the bail applications of Nigerian suspected fraudster, Ramon Abbas better known as Hushpuppi.
Freshman Inc understands that his lawyer Gal Pissetzky had applied for him to be granted bail with an electronic tag and live with his uncle.
However, the US prosecutor denied the bail application on claims that he could commit crimes with smartphones and pose much of flight risk. Reacting to prosecutors’ argument, Pissetzky “He is loved, respected and he is a celebrity. “I don’t see the reason why he would want to ruin his credibility in the world and his status rather than stay here and face this allegation. “Anywhere he goes, people will know. ”Having grown up very poor in Nigeria, Mr. Abbas is now paid to pose with high-priced items such as Louis Vuitton bags that people would buy after seeing his posts on Instagram. “He is an influencer. That’s a job today, as much as it is hard to imagine this is actually a full-time job,” Pissetzky said.
The Judge, Jeffrey Gilbert however ordered that the suspected Nigerian fraudster be remanded in custody until he is taken to a court in California. Meanwhile, Pissetzky, days ago, claimed Huspuppi was not extradited to the United States, but kidnapped by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Speaking with the BBC, Hushpuppi’s lawyer said: “In my opinion, the FBI and the government here acted illegally when they kidnapped him from Dubai without any legal process to do so. “There was no extradition, there were no legal steps taken, there were no court documents filed, it was simply a call to the FBI. He is not a citizen of the United States, the US had absolutely no authority to take him.”
The Chicago lawyer had also said that Hushpuppi is “absolutely not guilty of charges they are accusing him of". Hushpuppi known for his flamboyant lifestyle on social media platforms was picked by the US Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in UAE on June 10, 2020, after he was embroiled in a $35 million ventilator scam.
Alleged Rape: Police explains why they invited D’Banj accuser, Seyitan
By Freshman Inc – Nigeria
Following a directive by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Force Criminal Investigations Department (FCID) has commenced investigations into the allegation by a lady, Seyitan Babatayo that musician, Oladapo Oyebanjo, aka D’Banj raped her. Consequently, both the musician and the accuser have been invited to the Force Criminal Investigations Department, Abuja to give written statements and for interrogation. It was, however, gathered that while D’Banj has reported on three separate occasions at FCID for interrogation and statement, the accuser, Seyitan Babatayo, has constantly refused to show up. Her non-appearance is what prompted the Force CID to dispatch officers to Lagos to invite Seyitan for her written statement and interrogation on the alleged rape, according to a police source.
The police source said that having made the allegation, it was necessary for her to come forward to give a statement to back up her accusation which she has not done hence detectives were sent to Lagos to get her statement.
When his attention was drawn to allegations that Seyitan was arrested and detained by Police operatives at Ikeja in Lagos for 24 hours, the source said there may have been a mix up by the legal representative of Seyitan as she was only invited to give her written statement and be interrogated. The source, however, disclosed that investigation into the allegation of rape is still ongoing.
